Terry went home to be with The Lord on February 5, 2014 at the age of 59 and is predeceased by his father Arthur Mesec, mother Marie "Gertie" Mesec and his brother Gary Mesec Sr.

Married 30 years ago in Altona, NY, Terry is survived by his loving wife Patricia.

Terry is remembered by his children, Kelli (Bryan) Fischer of East Pointe, MI; "TJ" (Melody) Mesec Jr. MSgt USMC of Camp LeJuene, NC; Paula (Tony) Tisdell of Bluffton, SC; and Chuck (Carolyn) Decker of Waterford, NY as well as his beautiful grandchildren, Austin, Alyssa, Cameron, Sara-Marie, Thomas, Terry III, Matthew, Selena, Diana, Savanna, Joshua and Julia. He is lovingly remembered by his brother Barry (Aggie) Mesec and his sisters Sherry Moore and Lynne (Andy, deceased) Brewer. Terry is also remembered by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, their children and his extended family.

Born and living in Schenectady, NY, Terry worked at WRGB Channel 6 for 29 years. He was the station's Production Manager and unofficially the guy you could call for anything. He was loved & respected by all of his fellow co-workers.

Whether it was having breakfasts, dinners or cookouts with his family in Schenectady or travelling to spend time with his children and grandchildren out of state,Terry enjoyed, more than anything, being with family. He had a way of making everyone feel special and those who were blessed to know him came to love him very deeply.

He will be missed tremendously by his family, friends and his companion Dakota.

Calling hours will be held at Jones Funeral Home 1503 Union St Schenectady, NY on Friday from 4 PM to 8 PM.

The funeral service will be held at Jones Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 9 AM with Rev. Richard Carlino officiating. Burial to follow at St John's Cemetery Brandywine Ave Schenectady, NY
